The Golden Books are a joint project by NTGent and the Berlin publisher Verbrecher Verlag. It is a series comprising programme articles on theatre, aesthetics and politics as well as background pieces on productions and projects by NTGent. A series on both the theory and the practice of a 'city theatre of the future'. The first in this series is Global Realism, which will be published in autumn 2018 to coincide with the start of Milo Rau's first season as Artistic Director of NTGent. This book is a collection of primary texts, conversations and essays on the work of Milo Rau and the IIPM (International Institute of Political Murder) over the last ten years. There will be two editions, one in German and English and one in Dutch and French. Milo Rau was born in Bern in 1977 and works as a director, writer and activist. He is the author of 50 plays, films, books and actions. His most recent works published by Verbrecher Verlag are Die Europa Trilogie (2016), Das Kongo Tribunal (2017), Five Easy Pieces/Die 120 Tage von Sodom (2017) and Lenin (2017). Beschreibung ausblenden
